This Privacy Policy describes how YO DRIVE Platform (“YO DRIVE”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, handles, stores, and protects personal and vehicle information when you use our vehicle contact platform, mobile applications, smart QR stickers, and telephony bridges.

By activating a YO DRIVE QR sticker, creating an account, or scanning a YO DRIVE tag, you agree to the privacy practices outlined in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We only collect information strictly required to facilitate secure communication:

• Vehicle Registration Data: Vehicle license plate number, vehicle category (car, two-wheeler, commercial), and optional model/make details needed to verify vehicle linkage.
• Contact Information: Your registered 10-digit mobile phone number, verified via secure One-Time Password (OTP). Your phone number is encrypted in our databases.
• Encrypted Public Token: Unique cryptographic alphanumeric identifier (e.g. YD10015) assigned to your physical sticker.
• Scanner Telemetry: When someone scans your QR code, we log the timestamp, anonymized IP, and event type (page view or telephony trigger) to combat spam and detect abusive scanning behavior.

3. How the Masked Telephony Bridge Works

When a pedestrian, neighbor, or parking attendant scans your vehicle sticker:

1. They are directed to your public vehicle contact page (e.g., yodrive.in/q/YD10015).
2. Only your verified vehicle registration number is displayed. Your private phone number is strictly hidden.
3. When the scanner taps “Call Vehicle Owner”, our secure cloud telephony server initiates an automated call bridge using a virtual masked routing number.
4. Both caller and vehicle owner communicate seamlessly without either party seeing the other's real phone number.

4. Data Security & Encryption

We implement industry-standard administrative, physical, and technical safeguards:

• Zero Plaintext Storage: Personal telephone numbers are encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption.
• No Data on Stickers: Physical QR stickers contain only a randomized, unguessable cryptographic token. No personal data exists physically on the vehicle.
• Transport Security: All API communication and public web pages utilize TLS 1.3 encryption.
• Role-Based Access Control: Administrative access to the platform is restricted, audited, and secured with two-factor authentication.

5. Sharing of Information

We adhere to a strict policy regarding your personal data:

• No Sale of Data: We never sell, rent, monetize, or lease your phone number or vehicle details to marketing agencies or advertisers.
• Telephony Infrastructure: We work with licensed telecommunication providers solely to establish the masked audio bridge.
• Legal Obligations: We may disclose information only if required by valid judicial order or law enforcement request investigating serious crimes or traffic accidents.

6. Emergency Services Integration

The YO DRIVE platform embeds direct quick-dial shortcuts to official emergency response services (Police 112, Ambulance 102, Fire Brigade 101, Road Accident Helpline 1073). Connecting to these numbers connects directly to government emergency centers and does not involve YO DRIVE call recording.

7. Your Rights & Control

As a vehicle owner, you maintain complete autonomy over your tag:

• Pause Tag: Suspend incoming calls temporarily from your dashboard (e.g. while on vacation or parking in a private garage).
• Reassign or Transfer: Unlink the sticker if you sell your vehicle.
• Data Purge: Request permanent deletion of your phone number and registration records at any time.
